Stitching the time away

getting a jump on my day by prepping the 365 Card challenge right away. it was fun to do this little stitching job! i stamped an image then placed it over top of the sponged paper and paper pierced it. that way i could follow the pattern of the stamped image easily. a few layers, a little cuttlebug action, and you have a lovely birthday card!

stuff used:
paper...
Accent Design - ginger
chocolate & white cs
stamps...
Savvy Stamps - birthday wishes
ink...
Tim Holtz distress - broken china, worn lipstick, dusty concord, vintage photo
Brilliance - coffee bean
extras...
Cuttlebug - spots & dots embossing folder
Making Memories - dots and dashes cream ribbon
Basic Grey - Obscure button
sponge
rust & dark green embroidery thread
paper piercer
EK Success - corner notch punch

cheers!
